Last night I triumphantly returned to WCBN's residential soul-funk show with a set featuring more soul-type songs and more jazz-turned-funk-turned-Bernard Purdie-showoffathon type songs, all culminating in the unannounced special surprise of Bootsy Collins's "Happy Holidaze" from Christmas is 4 Ever. And so it was that Snoop Dogg said it was so.
