Setlist 12/15/11

Hello radio folk!

Thursday was another successful show. A lot of jazz to be had and celebrated all around, of all shapes and sounds! Unfortunately, no one seems to want to post any of those tunes on Youtube... But you are encouraged to check them out, especially the late and great Paul Motian and Happy Apple. Also Blur. Because Blur is the best (except for Gorillaz, of course, but the two are intimately related).

ALSO, I will be doing SO MUCH RADIO this week: I will be on Wednesday noon-3 and 4-5:30 pm, Jazz Til Noon on Thursday from 9-noon, this show, AND a VERY SPECIAL Thursday night/Friday morning 3-6am in which I will be doing a dramatic reading of the "Sirens" chapter of Ulysses (a wacky, crazy, awesome chapter) over Ornette Coleman Double Quartet's Free Jazz album. Two different quartets on each left/right speaker, one blasting voice of Ulysses. LISTEN UP, KIDS!
